Smart classrooms are also called ‘digital’ or multimedia or ‘new media’ classrooms. These rooms are equipped with projectors capable of showing either computer data or video images, sound systems, and internet connections as well as such peripheral equipment as VCRs, LaserDisc and DVD players, visual presenters and overhead projectors.
